Chai Tea Recipe

Ingredients

    Serves 2

  • 2 cups milk (cashew/almond/coconut) (for SCD diet please use home made coconut milk)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
  • 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • up to 1 tbsp honey (optional)

Directions

  • Pour all ingredients into a saucepan and heat until it lightly boils, turn to a simmer and simmer gently for around 5 minutes then serve into your favourite mug.
  • Try using an espresso shot of coffee for a chai latte.
