Chai Tea Recipe
Ingredients
Serves 2
- 2 cups milk (cashew/almond/coconut) (for SCD diet please use home made coconut milk)
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground allspice
- 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- up to 1 tbsp honey (optional)
Directions
- Pour all ingredients into a saucepan and heat until it lightly boils, turn to a simmer and simmer gently for around 5 minutes then serve into your favourite mug.
- Try using an espresso shot of coffee for a chai latte.
