Chocolate Balls Recipe

Ingredients
- 140g almonds
- 200g pitted medjool dates
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 60g chocolate protein powder
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cacao powder
- 100g cashew nuts
- 50g shredded coconut to cover
Directions
- Place the almonds in a food processor and mix until fine and starting to get creamy.
- Add the dates, water, coconut oil, vanilla and salt. Mix until smooth.
- Then add the protein powder and cocoa powder and mix until smooth again, this will be quite sticky.
- Add the cashew nuts and mix until either crunchy or smooth depending what texture you like.
- With wet hands roll the mixture into balls and then roll into the shredded coconut until covered.
- Store in a container in the fridge.
