Chocolate Brownie Recipe

SERVES 12

Ingredients

  • 135g ground almonds
  • 90g cacao powder
  • 1 ½ tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp tamari sauce
  • 170g coconut oil, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 5 tbsp raw honey
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Directions

  • Pre heat the oven 180’C
  • Mix up the first three ingredients in a medium bowl. In a separate bowl, add the second set of ingredients and mix well. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and whisk it up till it’s all combined.
  • Get a baking tin 9’x9’ and line with baking paper. Then pour in your batter and evenly spread. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until a knife inserted in the centre comes out clean.
  • Leave to cool out of the tin.
