Coconut Milk Recipe
Ingredients
- Coconut Milk
- 2 cups of water to every 1 cup shredded coconut
Directions
- I usually do the amount of 2 cups shredded coconut. Heat 4 cups of filtered water in a pan so it’s hot but not boiling.
- Then in a blender/food-processor, blend on high 2 cups water with 1 cup shredded coconut until nice and creamy (around 4 minutes).
- Then pour this mixture through a cheese cloth and squeeze until all liquid has been squeezed out.
- Then pour your milk into a glass container and store in the fridge (up to 4 days). It will separate in the fridge as we don’t add any nasty emulsifiers so just shake it before use.
