Peanut Protein Balls Recipe

These balls are quick to make and are great after a training session. Please note the calories, make them smaller if needed to lesson the calories in one hit. You can try a variety of ingredients to fill with instead of raisins and you can roll them in things like desiccated coconut, finely chopped nuts or even coat in melted chocolate for added instagram glam!



  • 80g oats (gluten free)
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (will work with chocolate too, whey or vegan)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 70g smooth peanut butter / or any nut butter
  • 1 tsp honey/maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla paste/essence
  • 2-6 tbsp milk or water (any type of milk, dairy or nut)
  • 3 tbsp of either raisins, dark choc pieces, dried fruit cut into small pieces, chopped nuts (i used raisins)


  • First mix the oats, protein powder and cinnamon together and then add the peanut butter, honey and vanilla. Mix well with a spatula.
  • Then remove spatula and add a couple of tbsp milk/water at a time until it forms a dough ball and it’s not crumbly.
  • Add your raisins or whatever you chose and press them into the mixture and fold around to equally distribute them.
  • Roll mixture into balls and allow to set in the fridge for around 30 minutes.
  • You can also have fun rolling these in different things to make them look pretty like finely chopped nuts, dessicated coconut or cover with melted chocolate and let it set.
