Blackberry and Apple Oats
A lovely warm and fruity hot oat bowl which is great for the cold mornings. Try mixing in protein powder with the oats foradded protein.
Ingredients
- 100g blackberries
- 2 apples, peeled, cored & chopped into small chunks
- 80g oats
- 200ml oat milk (unsweetened)
- 200ml water
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 60g coconut yoghurt
Directions
- Pop the blackberries and apples in a small pan with a splash of water and bring to a simmer. Cook for 10 minutes until the apple softens.
- Mix the oats, milk, water, cinnamon, and maple syrup together in another pan and bring to a simmer. Cook until the oats are soft (around 5 minutes).
- Serve the oats into 2 bowls and top each with coconut yogurt. Pour the berry and apple mix on top.
