Blackberry Crumble bars
Only a few ingredients to make these delicious bars. Can be tried using any berry or a mix.
Ingredients
- 200g oats
- 70g gluten-free flour
- 80ml maple syrup
- 60g vegan spreadable butter, cut into small chunks
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 200g blackberries
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Place the oats, flour, maple syrup, butter, and salt in a bowl and mix together well.
- Place half of the mixture into a small rectangular oven dish and pat this down firmly using your hands to create an even layer on the bottom. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
- Place the blackberries over the top evenly, and then add the remaining mixture, patting it down again using your hands.
- Bake for 30-50 minutes, until the top looks golden.
- Take out of the oven and allow to cool completely. Chop into bars. You can store in the fridge, and they can also be frozen.
