Chocolate Brownies (Flourless)

A delicious gluten free chocolate brownie recipe to try.


  • 135g ground almonds
  • 90g cacao powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp tamari sauce
  • 170g coconut oil, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 5 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence


  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Mix up the first three ingredients in a medium bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, add the second set of ingredients and mix well.
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry and whisk it up until it’s all combined.
  • Get a baking tin (9″x9″) and line with baking paper.
  • Pour in your batter and evenly spread.
  • Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Leave to cool out of the tin, then cut into slices.
