Mushrooms on millet bread
Adding garlic to mushrooms is divine! Millet bread may not look like a good thick slice of bread, but does taste really goodand is best toasted.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of Millet Bread
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 150g brown mushrooms, sliced
- 1 garlic clove, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- Toast the millet bread and place it on a plate.
- In a frying pan on high heat, add the oil, mushrooms, garlic, and thyme. Cook for a few minutes.
- Turn the heat to medium and continue to cook for a further 8 minutes, until the mushrooms are soft, stirring occasionally.
- Serve the cooked mushrooms on top of the toast and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
