Simple Granola
The best granola recipe. Super simple. Keep an eye on it as it bakes so it doesnโt turn too dark. Goes great with just milk, or with yoghurt and berries.
Ingredients
- Dry Ingredients
- 120g desiccated coconut
- 150g flaked almonds
- 120g sunflower seeds
- 100g pumpkin seeds
- 100g cashews
- 60g milled flaxseed
- Wet Ingredients
- 80g coconut oil
- 100g honey
- 150g cashew butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180ยฐC.
- Line a large baking dish with baking paper.
- Place all dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix together.
- In a small pan on low heat, add all the wet ingredients and stir until well combined and runny.
- Slowly pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients, and mix well.
- Spread the granola out into the baking dish so itโs evenly spread.
- Place in the oven for 12 minutes.
- Take the granola out and mix around, then place back in the oven for another 10 minutes.
- Take out again, mix, and place back in the oven. Keep doing this but for shorter lengths of 6 minutes until itโs evenly a lovely golden brown.
- Leave to cool before transferring into an airtight container.
