I started seeing Steve early this year as unbeknown to me I had some quite serious health conditions that were going untreated.
All I knew at the time was I kept getting infections on different parts of my body that would literally incapacitate me. Once the infection was out I would need antibiotics quickly or the infection would put me in hospital.
Over the period of about 5 years twice I was admitted to hospital and at least 10-12 courses of antibiotics. I would normally suffer from one or two of these infections a year until this year when I had three at the same time. Our lovely medical service had no idea what was causing them. Every time I had to see a Doctor I was referred for diabetes but after testing my results always came back negative.
So, I was recommended Steve from a friend and this is where my journey to health started.
Steve was fantastic he quickly ran some tests not previously ran through the NHS and found the problem straight away.
Steve explained all his findings to me and what we needed to do to get my health back. 6 months later my health is back to where I want it, no infections and vast improvements in my health across the board.

Having trained most of my life and being a stunt man I had a good understanding of exercise but never a good understanding of proper healthy eating and how to manage them both. I was training loads but not losing weight like I wanted so having heard a lot about Steve from my friends who had been to see him I decided it would be a good idea to see him myself.
He gave me a meal plan and also changed around my training (cutting my gym time by more than half) I found that I was getting results really quickly and seeing good progress. I don’t like the idea of a diet and told Steve that I didn’t want to constantly feel hungry and he assured me if I followed what he gave me then I wouldn’t and I haven’t which is great. 10 months on and I’m still keeping to the plan and I’ve slimmed down a lot, feel healthier for it and in a condition that I wanted to be when I first went to see him so I couldn’t be more pleased. Steve practices what he preaches and is a real friendly guy who is always there for advice and help if you need him. Glad I made the choice to see him and would advice anyone who was interested to see Steve as well.

By the time I went to Steve Grant Health I was suffering from extreme anxiety caused in part by my diagnosis and my hectic lifestyle. I was taking a lot of tablets including antidepressants for the anxiety and was physically and mentally drained.
Steve made me feel at ease from the start. He took me back to basics with breathing techniques and coping mechanisms for the anxiety.
He then looked at my diet and lifestyle and formed a supplement program to follow as well as mindfulness practices.
Slowly as I kept to the supplement program, improved diet and quite a bit of soul searching I started to feel my normal happy self again. My anxiety had settled, and my immune system had kicked in again.
Fast forward a couple of years and I’m completely off the anti-depressants and I can control my immune system and stress levels with diet and mindfulness.
I can honestly say that I wouldn’t be where I am today without Steve’s help and guidance. The support network he put in place for me went beyond the usual nutritionist and client relationship.
I am and will forever be grateful to Steve and I can’t thank him enough.

I first attending one of Steve’s seminar 4 years ago as a well of up-skilling myself as a personal trainer. Steve delivered an extremely useful presentation on gut health which I was immediately able to apply with my client base. This prompted me to work personally with Steve on my own digestion issues that had troubled me for some time. I loved how his approach looked at the big picture such as stress, lifestyle, case history and belief systems, rather than treating the gut health as a single commodity.
Steve was able to identify the root cause of what was triggering my problems and prescribed a very effective diet and supplement regime which worked wonders. Not only did my digestive issues subside, the plan also ended up with me dropping body fat as well, a very welcomed by-product.
Since then I have referred several clients to Steve when they require more specific health analysis. He always provides a professional service and can break down complex terms, delivering them to the client in an understandable manner.

Over the past 3-4 years I have become more and more interested in healthy eating and optimising my personal nutrition. I’ve read books and blogs, I’ve visited different nutritionists and I’ve been to seminars and courses in order to learn more. I’ve tried so many FAD diets and so many quick cleanses. I’ve done 2 weeks green juice diets and I’ve done Atkin type diets, I’ve been Paleo and I’ve been vegan. I also counted my macros for about 2 years. Everything gave similar results, but nothing made me feel great!
Through experience what I can tell you is that no matter what your goal is, you need to find something that suits you. You need to know what YOUR body needs and wants, or what your body doesn’t want.
I recently visited Steve who was recommended to me by an ex colleague. The reason I went to see Steve was because I was generally feeling unwell and tired, I was retaining a lot of water, I was sleepy, spotty and moody. Doctors I had seen put it down to stress. I even heard things like ‘you are overdoing it, you need to sleep more and work and train less!’ How demotivating is that? At 26 years of age my reaction to that was to never go back to that doctor again! I am at the prime of developing my business, I love training hard in the gym it is my passion, so NO, I won’t do less of either of those things – I wanted to do more!
I saw Steve Grant, and he was the first person to give me a scientific and understandable diagnosis based on a subjective assessment, backed up by specific blood tests and confirmed by specific stool tests. I must say his diagnostic presumptions, based on our subjective assessment, prior to receiving the test results were spot on, however the tests were important in order to be more specific with a ‘treatment’ plan. There is no need to get into the itty gritty of what these tests showed, but Steve was able to manipulate my nutrition and supplementation plan to ensure my body was getting the nutrients it needed to function optimally both physically and mentally. There I was all these years thinking I was getting it right!
Although seeking professional advice may be costly and time consuming, when it comes to your health it is the biggest investment! I would assume that we all want to feel good and look healthy both on the outside and the inside too!? Living in this crazy world full of pollution and stress which sadly we don’t really have too much control over anymore, be on top of the things you CAN control to improve your lifestyle and well-being.
I highly recommend Steve Grant, to work with to achieve your health goals, no matter what they may be.

After eating certain types of foods I would become very lethargic, I knew that my gut health and diet needed some attention. I went to see Steve after a conversation with a friend who went to see him also. I discovered that I had some of the same symptoms as her and therefore should invest some time into exploring my gut health. Steve was very professional and succinct. I found that I had hypoglycaemia tendencies, which resulted in a total change into the way I ate and thought about food. He helped me plan meals, gave me ideas for meals and educated me into what types of foods would maintain my blood sugar levels and would be complimentary to my condition.
Since the meeting, it has revolutionised how I think about food. My Symptoms have been controlled just by now knowing what I can or can’t eat and gaining an understanding to why I feel the way I did after eating certain foods, this is something I doubt I would’ve found on the GP conveyor belt! Thanks Steve, it has been life changing!

He develops simple and effective programs that are strict and focussed without being intimidating. His instructions are clear and simple and delivered when promised. He is careful to concentrate as much on what’s allowed as what’s not allowed.
By being flexible, supportive and encouraging he has empowered me not just to stick to my nutrition plan but to really enjoy it. It hasn’t always been easy, such major dietary and lifestyle changes never are, but the benefits speak for themselves: I have experienced a tangible improvement in my neurological symptoms; I’ve enjoyed a 85% reduction in the number of headaches I have, something I have lived with for most of my life; and I have experienced excellent fat loss results, losing over a stone in weight, weight that it took me 4 years of lazy living to accumulate.
All in all, I am very happy with the results. As well as pretty much achieving my initial goals, I have also been pleasantly surprised to experience unexpected improvements. Perhaps more importantly, Steve has helped me to change the way that I think and feel about food and drink. I no longer crave the things I know are bad for me .
