London Clinic & Online
Hi, I’m Steve.
I have been a Functional Medicine Practitioner for over 20 years and during that time have supported clients through a variety of health, performance and physical transformations.
I operate both from my Functional Medicine clinic in Marylebone, central London and online via video consultations.
I have worked with thousands of clients to date and won ‘Outstanding Practice’ awards for my work within Functional Medicine.
In a world of constant demands, conflicting health advice, the world’s information at our fingertips, and ever-changing priorities, many people struggle not with motivation, but with clarity, consistency, and implementation.
This is where professional guidance, accountability, and experience matter most, especially when delivering a Functional Medicine-based health transformation.
The reality most clients face…
Most people seeking support today are not short of information. They are overwhelmed by it.
Clients often arrive having tried multiple diets, supplements, practitioners, protocols, or tests.
Many have spent hours using online resources, AI tools, or search engines to navigate their situation, yet still feel stuck, frustrated, or unsure which direction to take next.
They may be managing complex or chronic health concerns, juggling demanding careers and family life, or simply finding that their health has gradually slipped down the priority list.
The reality is, more information alone doesn’t equal better results.
How we work
Steve Grant Health provides personalised Nutrition and Functional Medicine support for individuals seeking clarity, consistency, and sustainable improvements in their health.
With over two decades of clinical experience, the focus is on helping clients navigate complexity, implement realistic strategies, and achieve meaningful long-term outcomes.
Rather than one off consultations, most clients achieve better outcomes through structured, ongoing support.
This provides clarity, accountability, and the ability to adapt recommendations as circumstances change.
Support focuses on prioritising what matters most, translating data into action, and maintaining momentum over time.

Functional Medicine FAQ's
1. What is Functional Medicine?
Functional Medicine is a patient centred approach, where the patient and the practitioner work together to develop a plan of action that is individualised to your own needs and capabilities.
A Functional Medicine Practitioner appreciates the connection between all systems in the body, choices, and our environment. Rather than treating that one area or one symptom, the idea is that you understand about the person as a whole and work from there.
Functional Medicine Practitioners consider the impacts of nutrition, lifestyle, genetics, psychology, physiology, our individuality, our history, traumas, and current environments. We then use a science-based approach to facilitate investigations, treatment and support strategies to help you achieve your health and wellness goals.
Functional Medicine is about treating the person, not the disease!
2. What symptoms & health problems can Functional Medicine help with?
A Functional Medicine Practitioner can help with a wide range of symptoms and health problems by addressing their root causes. I use Functional Medicine to help with…
Metabolic Health
Helping you achieve healthy and sustainable weight Loss and body composition while reversing or lowering the risk of Type 2 Diabetes, Insulin Resistance, Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver & Metabolic Syndrome.
Cardiovascular Health
Supporting you if you are at risk of or looking to prevent the progression of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure and the associated risk factors relating to coronary arterial disease.
Gut Health
Helping clients overcome the frustrations and limitations caused by chronic digestive symptoms associated with IBS, IBD, reflux, constipation, SIBO and more.
Energy & Fatigue
Start to feel yourself again, get back to the activities you love and overcome the burden of chronic fatigue and energy issues impacting on your physical and mental state.
Athletic Performance & Recovery
Don’t let impaired recovery and health status impact on your physical performance, hampering the consistency of your training due to niggling injuries, impaired immune function and energy levels.
3. What are the benefits of Functional Medicine over traditional medicine?
Functional medicine offers a holistic and personalised approach to healthcare that focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes of illness rather than just treating symptoms. In contrast, conventional medicine often focuses on managing symptoms with medication, which can sometimes overlook the underlying issues.
As a functional medicine practitioner, I take the time to understand your unique health history, lifestyle, and genetic factors, creating a comprehensive and tailored health plan. This approach can lead to more effective and sustainable health outcomes, as it aims to restore balance and optimise function across all body systems.
Unlike conventional medicine, which can be reactive and often involves a one-size-fits-all treatment approach, functional medicine is proactive and individualised. This can result in not only improved physical health but also emotional well-being, as you feel more in control and understood.
The emotional benefits include feeling heard, supported, and empowered to take control of your well-being, leading to a more fulfilling and healthier life.
